White Rose Boarding Kennels is fully fully approved, licensed & inspected by Queensland State Government , Ipswich City Council, QGRA, RSPCA, & Pet Boarders & Groomers Association of Queensland.
We have had an interest in the canine world since 1969 . We purchased our first Afghan Hound in March 1969 a dog named Trimbar Janus, this followed soon after with a bitch named Dianna of Kazah, these two hounds were exhibited extensively in the late sixties & seventies with moderate success.
	In the late seventies we obtained a gold Afghan bitch named Askaris Khanda & a T masked black & tan Afghan dog named Ishkamun Tawil. These two hounds were exhibited in England in the late seventies & early eighties. In 1982 these two Afghan hounds accompanied us & our two children to Australia where we settled in a suburb of Melbourne called The Basin. In 1985 we obtained our first Ibizan Hound a bitch named Inpu Jump’ n Bean, we called her Ziggy she was from the very first litter of Ibizan Hounds to be whelped in Australia.
In 1988 we moved from Victoria to Queensland & set up the Zashkar exhibition kennel in South Maclean 48 klms South of Brisbane. Our kennel name Zashkar was first registered by us with the Kennel Club in London & then with Victorian K.C. followed by the Canine Control Council Queensland. We have exhibited our Afghan’s & Ibizan’s with many wins over the years. At present we have four Afghan Hounds & eleven Ibizan Hounds. In September 2003 we established White Rose Boarding Kennels at Walloon which is situated 10mins from Ipswich & 45mins from Brisbane CBD.
	Our exhibition hounds are highly desirable generating great interest to exhibitors not only here in Australia but on a global scale. Having connections in the USA, England, Canada, Norway, France & Spain keeps us on the cutting edge of our interest. We are invited on an annual basis to, deliver the Ibizan Hound breed lecture to aspirant hound judges for the Canine Control Council Queensland. We invite questions from interested parties relating to Afghan Hounds & Ibizan Hounds. And invite you to also peruse the photographs on the other pages of our web site.
